Plan it around your group
Tell us your dates, your group and the places you want to see. We build a realistic itinerary with drive times, meal stops and, for longer tours, overnight stops. You see one fixed price for the whole trip before you confirm.
Why a private tour
- No fixed schedule, so you stay longer where you love it
- Luggage stays in the vehicle from hotel to hotel
- Comfortable for families, friends and parents travelling together
- Start or finish in Singapore, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur or Penang
A sample three-day West Malaysia tour
- Day one: Kuala Lumpur sightseeing, then Genting Highlands for the evening
- Day two: Cameron Highlands tea plantations and strawberry farms, then Ipoh for dinner
- Day three: Penang heritage and street food, then your flight or onward trip
- Alternative: Singapore to Melaka, Kuala Lumpur and Penang over four days
Choosing stops and overnight stays
You choose your own hotels and we pick up and drop off at each one. If you are unsure where to break a long drive, we suggest overnight stops that keep the daily driving comfortable, such as Melaka or Kuala Lumpur on the way north and Ipoh before Penang.
When to travel
West Malaysia can be visited all year, but the east coast has a monsoon season in the cooler months when some beach areas are quieter and the sea is rough. The highlands are cool year-round, and weekends and school holidays are busier everywhere. Tell us your dates and we advise on timing. For single-day alternatives see Daily Charter.
